The first images of the Motorola Razr 2020 appear

After the 2019 Razr rekindles Motorola’s iconic Razr series, the manufacturer is set to expand its foldable ambitions in 2020. We’ve heard of a 5G successor to the 2019 Razr and now Evan blass has provided renderings of the device which appear to share many similarities with the current model.

We can see that the overall dimensions of the phone will be similar to the Razr 2019 with the same notch at the top of the main screen although its chin has been tapered. The capacitive fingerprint scanner has also been removed, which could mean it’s moved under the screen or on the side power button.

The exterior display looks unchanged while below we can see a dual camera setup. The primary shooter is now rumored to be 48MP while the secondary snapper is said to be 20MP. We also expect a more powerful chipset this time around.

As for the naming, we’ve heard plenty of variations ranging from Odyssey, which is probably the device’s codename, as well as Razr 5G and Razr 2020. Other known details about the phone include a charge of 18 W, 256 GB storage and nano-SIM card support as well as a new color called Mercury Silver.
