Sony has confirmed that it is hosting an audio-related launch event on August 6, where there is a high probability that we will see the launch of its WH-1000XM4 headphones. The opening speech is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. UTC and Sony is displaying a #ListenWithSony tagline that confirms that the product (or products) will be audio oriented.

In June, we saw a listing for the XM4 headphones, which revealed that they will feature minor updates to the already excellent WH-1000XM3. New additions will include real-time AI scaling of compressed music files. The headphones were also spotted in the Brazilian list, which revealed that their design was visually indistinguishable from their predecessors.
The photos and manual of the Sony WH-1000XM4, the successor to Sony’s excellent XM3 wireless bluetooth headphones, have just been mounted on Anatel from Brazil (equivalent to the FCC).
