The first images and characteristics of a new smartphone with a special quantum security chip appeared on the network. In addition, the manufacturer has released a teaser confirming the design of the device, and insiders have already named the date of its announcement.
Galaxy Quantum2 will be a special offer from one of the South Korean operators SK Telecom. The companies adhered to the same strategy with the release of the first generation of the smartphone. Outwardly, the novelty resembles the base model of the Galaxy S21 series, but with a simplified camera module design.
By data network sources, the device will receive a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In this case, the “heart” of the device will be the already formally outdated Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The device is also credited with 8/128 GB of memory and a 64 megapixel main camera sensor.
The capacity of the built-in smartphone battery will be 4500 mAh. Support for 25W fast charging is expected, but a 15W PSU is rumored to be bundled with the device. The key feature of the novelty will be the presence of a special quantum chip responsible for the security of user data.
The pre-order for the smartphone will open on April 13, with deliveries scheduled for April 23. The first purchasers of the device will also receive Galaxy Buds Live TWS headphones as a gift. The price of the upcoming novelty is still unknown.
