Samsung is making 5G more accessible to people in the United States starting this week, with the launch of the Galaxy A51 5G.
The phone will land on T-Mobile and Samsung.com on August 7 and will be priced at $ 499.99. It follows the Galaxy A71 5G, which Samsung released in the US in June for $ 599.99.
The Galaxy A51 5G UW will be available from Verizon on August 13. Metro will also sell it at an undisclosed time, with other operators and business partners to follow.
The A51 5G features a 6.5 ” 1080×2400 Super AMOLED touchscreen with centered punch hole for the 32 MP selfie camera, 128 GB of storage, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, and a quad rear camera setup (48 Main MP, 12 MP Ultra Wide, 5 Macro MP, 5 MP Depth Sensor).
If the US version turns out to be identical to the international model, expect to see the Exynos 980 chipset at the helm and a 4,500mAh battery with a 15W load. The A51 5G runs Android 10 with One UI 2 on top.
