OPPO Watch with WearOS by Google still looks very familiar

The next-generation OPPO Watch is expected to launch before the end of July. The wearable device arrived after months of teasing. He reached the FCC, which meant the announcement would take place soon. An OPPO watch with a familiar design and dual-chip endurance system was introduced in March, but the Chinese OEM wants to offer an upgraded version. The new OPPO watch has been officially announced. It still looks like an Apple Watch, so it’s more like an upgraded version of the original OPPO Watch. The device is powered by Wear OS by Google, which means it could work with both Android and iOS devices.

New OPPO watch comes with an LTE variant plus a fast charge feature. It features a 1.91-inch dual-curvature AMOLED 3D display on the 46mm model, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 402 x 476 resolution, 326 PPI, and 500 nits brightness. There is also the 41mm version with a smaller 1.6-inch screen, 320 x 360 resolution and 301 PPI. Unlike the 46mm, this one does not show 3D curves.

The 41mm OPPO watch only comes with WiFi and a plastic back, as well as 6000 series aluminum alloy construction. The 46mm LTE compatible version is also waterproof up to 3 ATM. The 41mm watch features a fluorinated rubber strap and plastic back as well as a 300mAh battery that can last all day in regular use and two consecutive weeks in power saving mode. Color options include Rose Gold, Silver Mist, and Black.

The larger 46mm OPPO watch can be used with LTE eSIM or WiFi only. It comes with a plastic and ceramic back, 430mAh battery, and water resistance up to 5 ATM. The battery can last up to 21 days in power saving mode and 30 hours and 36 hours (LTE, WiFi).

Both versions run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor and come with the Flash VOOC charging system. Quick charge features mean an additional 16 hours of battery life with 15 minutes of charge. A fully charged battery can be obtained in 75 minutes (1 hour, 15 minutes).

The smartwatch comes with the usual wearable features: sleep tracking, always-on heart rate monitoring, and five training modes: Fat Burn Run, Fitness Run, Outdoor Cycling, Outdoor Walking, and Swimming. All modes also offer vocal accompaniment and tracking. The OPPO watch is now available in key markets although no pricing information has been provided.
