The Nokia 8.3 5G was announced in March. It promised a 5G experience, but it’s not quite the high-end flagship phone we’ve come to expect from a well-known brand. Well, it’s just a mid-range flagship with its Snapdragon 765G processor anyway. Its selling point is 5G connectivity, which is good as there are only a few choices of affordable 5G phones in the world today. The device has reached Amazon Germany and appears to be set for release in the United States.
HMD Global will deploy the Nokia 8.3 5G phone. This flagship model will be sold in the United States in the fall. There is no exact date yet, but expect it to happen just before the end of the year.
The phone is a nice addition to our shortlist of 5G phones. We don’t know which networks or operators it will be compatible with, but we assume most of them. HMD claimed earlier that it is “The world’s first flagship smartphone”. It’s affordable. By affordable we mean around $ 645. That’s even lower compared to those other flagship products from big brands.
The mid-range Nokia 8.3 5G runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. It’s only a mid-range chipset, but it’s more gaming-focused. It can handle this with its 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. The phone has a large 6.81 inch FHD + display with a punch hole selfie camera. As for the main camera system, there are four sensors: a 64MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro camera.
We can’t wait to test its global 5G connectivity. It is expected to work on all 5G networks in countries where the Nokia 8.3 5G phone will be sold. He will come to the United States. We are sure now.
With Snapdragon 765G chipset this Nokia 8.3 5G can probably compete with the OnePlus Nord, LG Velvet, Redmi K30 and Realme X50. But then only the LG Velvet will be sold in the country. We’ll see when the phone finally reaches the United States.
