Let’s take a look at the iQOO 8 specifications, features and other leaked details.
iQOO 8 charging details leaked
iQOO 8 is expected to debut on August 4 in China. Ahead of the launch, the device’s fast-charging details have leaked online. According to a MyDrivers report, iQOO could launch its flagship smartphone with a 160W fast charging support. If true, it will be the fastest charging smartphone available in the commercial space. Although Xiaomi has demoed its 200W HyperCharge tech, the charging mechanism is rumoured to go commercial ready next year. A 160W charging support is an upgrade over the 120W fast charging support found on the China variant. In India, iQOO’s flagship smartphones come with 66W fast charging support.
The report claims that the 160W fast charger will charge the device completely within 12 minutes. If rumours are to be believed, the phone will launch the device with a 4000 mAh battery.
Other details revealed ahead of the launch include the inclusion of the Snapdragon 888+ SoC under the hood. The performance unit will include 12GB of RAM and also feature 4GB of extended RAM support.
It is also rumoured to feature a 2K display with a 3200 x 1440 resolution. While the display size remains unknown, it is likely to feature a 120Hz high-refresh-rate support. The phone will run Android 11-based Vivo’s OriginOS out of the box. It will come with 256GB of internal storage.
