The list of 5G phones is growing every month as more and more devices are introduced by different OEMs. So far we have a few new ones from Samsung like the new Galaxy Note 20 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Other 5G phones we’ve featured already include OnePlus Nord, Lenovo Legion Phone Duel, ASUS ROG Phone 3, Honor X10 Max and Huawei P40 Pro 5G. Samsung also offers other 5G phones like the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. The mid-range Samsung Galaxy A51 was even named the world’s best-selling phone in the first quarter of 2020.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 are only mid-range devices, but they can be good alternatives if you’re looking for more affordable options. For those who want a more premium phone, there’s the Samsung Galaxy S20. The Galaxy Note 20 will also join the market next month.
In the United States, there are many options, including those from Samsung. Verizon made the Galaxy A71 5G UW available last month. Earlier in August, Verizon also put the Galaxy A51 5G UW up for pre-order.
AT&T follows up by announcing that the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is now available for pre-order. The new model Galaxy A51 5G is priced around $ 500 compared to the regular Samsung Galaxy A51 priced at $ 399.99 or $ 13.34 per month for 30 months.
You can get the 5G phone for just $ 5 a month also for 30 months, but only with an AT&T Unlimited plan. This makes the device only $ 150. It’s affordable but, of course, it has to come with a coverage plan which may cost more.
AT&T will deploy the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G starting August 21, Friday, in the United States. Both old and new AT&T subscribers can take advantage of the phone. Again, it’s only $ 5 / month for two and a half years. It sounds cheap, but you can’t just buy the phone outright and just pay $ 150. You have to buy it with the AT&T Unlimited plan.
